The famous tapestry capital of France, nestling on the River Creuse, is the city of AUBUSSON. Magnificent wall tapestries and decorative tapestry carpets have been hand woven here since 16th century utilising fine silk and wool.

Manufacture continues to this day in the many Aubusson workshops and the city houses a Tapestry Museum with a remarkable collection.

We are proud to offer a large collection of Aubusson carpets mainly from the early and mid 19th century.

This wonderful carpet has a modern feel that makes it the perfect piece to be placed on a hard wood or carpeted floor. As we head into Autumn, why not explore our Aubusson collection which can be seen on our website.

Please contact us to view this or any other rug, carpet or tapestry in the privacy of your home or venue of your choice.
