In very good condition ( with slight wear to the dark blue field )
The city of Tabriz in the far northwest of Persia is renowened for its beautiful weavings. Overall floral and medallion designs are finely woven in pastel colourings or with strong bold colourings, generally in wool but also in pure silk.
